Why Lougha

Real people, not just another app.

Lougha (لغة, “language”) is the bridge between your family’s language and French. Real lessons, real consultants, real measured progress — not just points in a game.

A native consultant, in both your languages

Razika grew up with French and Arabic: your child learns real French from a native speaker who knows both cultures — and can explain in Arabic when needed.

8-week terms

A clear frame: initial assessment, goals, mid-term check-in, final assessment and a detailed report.

Measurable progress

Eight skills tracked lesson after lesson. You know exactly what your child is learning next.

Lasting motivation

Badges, a French passport, challenges — motivation designed for confidence, never for screen addiction.

Our levels

Five levels, one journey

From complete beginner to B1 — motivating names for kids, rigorous CEFR mapping for parents.

Beginner · 01

Explorer

First words, songs and the sounds of French. Your child dares to speak from lesson one.

Pre-A12

Traveller

Introduce themselves, count, name colours and family, follow simple instructions.

A13

Adventurer

Describe their day, ask questions, and read short stories with confidence.

A24

Communicator

Tell stories in the past, handle everyday conversations, write short texts.

B15

French Champion

Debate, give opinions fluently, and reach the European B1 level with full confidence.

An investment in their future

Why French for your child?

A global language

Over 320 million speakers across five continents — one of the world's most spoken and influential languages.

A rare distinction

With Vision 2030, tourism, diplomacy and luxury hospitality booming, a third language is an edge few possess.

An open door to an international diploma

Our levels follow the European framework (CEFR) — and later on, if you wish, the path can lead to the DELF, the official diploma recognised worldwide.

A clear path that starts with the first letter… and can later lead, if you wish, to the international DELF diploma 🎓

For parents

Parents: you finally know where things stand.

No more lessons you know nothing about. Your parent cockpit shows attendance, homework, consultant comments and the growth of every skill — with a full pedagogical report in Arabic at the end of each 8-week term.

  • Radar of 8 skills, from the first lesson to the last
  • A consultant note after every lesson

French-speaking friends

Your child practises real conversation with francophone children their age — the best exercise there is.

Your questions

Frequently asked questions

My child is a complete beginner — is that a problem?

Not at all. The Explorer level is designed for children who have never spoken French. The first lessons are all games, songs and speaking — never abstract grammar.

When do lessons take place?

Evenings after school (4–8 PM Riyadh time), Sunday to Thursday, with optional Saturday workshops. All times display automatically in Riyadh time.

What if we miss a lesson?

You can reschedule up to 24 hours before the lesson, free of charge. In emergencies the consultant leaves a summary and the content is caught up next lesson.

Who teaches my child?

Razika, a French national whose mother tongues are both French and Arabic. She knows French and Saudi culture intimately and has taught French to children in private lessons for several years. Every lesson follows our structured CEFR-based programme, with a note to parents after each session — all overseen by our educational director, an experienced Saudi school teacher from Riyadh.

Is my child’s data protected?

Child protection is our absolute priority: parental consent is required for everything, no child data or photos are ever public, and consultant-child communication happens only inside the platform, supervised.

How do I pay?

With mada, Apple Pay or credit card, or in 4 instalments via Tamara or Tabby. Invoices are automatic and prices in Saudi riyals include VAT.

Give your child one more language, and the confidence that comes with it.

First trial lesson with a specialist consultant. No commitment.
